We stayed at the Santa Maria Suites in early October, and we absolutely loved everything about our experience! The location is super convenient, it's a 2-minute walk to Duval Street and the Southernmost Point marker. Plus, right next door there's a great little Cuban sandwich /coffee shop, an ice cream & donut truck and the Tipsy Rooster bar, which made grabbing quick bites and drinks so convenient! From the second we arrived the front desk staff was awesome—so welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond by giving us a heads-up on the weather forecast, helping us figure out the best day to book our snorkeling tour based on when the waves would be the calmest. They also helped us book a golf cart rental, got us a discount (we even got a quote to rent direct from another place and this was a better deal) and had it delivered and picked up right from the hotel! Great service. The entire resort has great amenities, including a beautiful pool area that was perfect for relaxing. The kids loved the free slushies at the pool bar! We also really appreciated the bottled water provided every day, which meant we didn't have to make a trip to the grocery store to stock up. On top of that, the attentive housekeeping staff kept everything clean and stocked up. The layout of our 2-bedroom suite was really nice. It had a king primary bedroom with a larger bathroom, while the other king bedroom and smaller second bath were on the opposite side of the common area and kitchen. We loved the privacy of this setup, and the central common space was an awesome spot for the family to hang out. Also, the little patio with chairs outside the room was a favorite spot to sit and read or just watch the cute little lizards dart around on the tile or in the trees surrounding the entry. We loved the luxurious jungle feel of all the natural trees and plants everywhere! Our favorite unexpected surprise was the daily treats! The staff replenished fresh muffins and Dove chocolate ice cream bars in our suite every single day. It was such a special, delicious touch! Overall we had a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place for families looking for a nice hotel with suites to comfortably accommodate everyone. We can't wait to come back!

We have stayed here for the last few years during our annual birthday trip and have loved it! Staff is amazing rooms are always clean and they are very accommodating.
