10 outta 10!!!! Just book it! We absolutely loved our stay at Santa Maria Suites and can’t wait to come back! First, a huge shoutout to Matilda—she is hands down one of the kindest, most welcoming hotel staff members we’ve ever encountered. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and helped us with anything we needed. The photos honestly don’t do these suites justice. They are beautiful, incredibly spacious, and were absolutely perfect for our family of five. Having a full kitchen and an in-suite washer and dryer made traveling with kids so much easier. More of a condo than a suite. I highly recommend the single floor suites. Our garden suite was still close to the pool but very private. The pool area is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the daily happy hour, complimentary slushies throughout the day, and all the thoughtful little touches like homemade muffins each morning, chocolate ice cream, and chocolates delivered to the room daily. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right next to the Southernmost Point in a quieter part of Key West, yet just steps from Duval Street. We also loved having the Tipsy Rooster right across the street with live music every day. Santa Maria Suites is one of those rare places that gets everything right—beautiful accommodations, exceptional service, thoughtful amenities, and an ideal location. We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Key West.

Beautiful & peaceful resort. Perfect if you want to be near the Duvall st. action but not directly in it - lots of food, coffee, drink & grocery options within a very short walk. Beware of the seaweed, which is apparently prevalent on the atlantic side during early summer months. It made the beach unusable. Not the resorts fault whatsoever, but good to know when booking.

Easily one of the premier hotels in Key West. It’s an intimate property with roughly 30 suites, making it feel exclusive but welcoming. The flat bedrooms are very spacious, while the bi-level bedrooms are a little smaller, but still offer plenty of space. All the rooms are comfortable, offer a separate living space, and feature a full kitchen. The rooms surround the courtyard, which houses the dual pools and lounge chairs. The pool deck is kept immaculate and offers the perfect balance of full sun and shaded areas. We loved the complimentary daytime slushies and the fantastic happy hour by the pool in the early evening. It’s a great spot for both families and couples alike. ​The location is terrific. You are right at the quieter end of Duval Street and only a couple of blocks from the Southernmost Point. Highly walkable! ​We had a minor issue with our suite’s refrigerator, but within 15 minutes of alerting the front desk, maintenance had the problem diagnosed and repaired. ​You might pay a little premium here, but you absolutely get what you pay for. We are already planning our next trip!
