we did extensive research before booking in key west, family of 4 w/ 2 young kids. this is the place to go. the location is fantastic you are 2 blocks from S-most point and duval if you want to do that. room was spotless with large well appointed kitchen. service was awesome. beautiful, clean, quiet pool right outside your room w/ bar service. front desk staff are friendly and helpful. there have been a few reviews posted here about lack of cleanliness - i have no idea what they are talking about you could eat off our floor or the pool deck. bonus info: there's an e-cart rental place across the street that has been great, we rented for the week and they have just let us park the cart there overnight for free. only negatives i would say are small pool (but everything in KW is small) and if you are really trying to be in the party action (we aren't) it's a bit far south for that would be my guess.

Santa Maria Suites in Key West left this sweet birthday treat with a Bottle Champagne and a bottle of Pino Grigio during this whole weekend they made me feel so special! I’m beyond surprised and feeling so blessed! I highly recommend if anyone comes down to the Keys to stay here ! Beyond 5 star treatment! 10 out of 10, Staff is wonderful. Each suite is facing beautiful swimming pools and lounge and bar! Great Happy Hour and so close to everything! I came to celebrate my 50th and it’s was absolutely wonderful experience!
