See What Our Guests Have to Say

Our family visited Key West and had a nice stay at the Santa Maria Suites Resort. We enjoyed our stay and the tranquility of the property. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was well maintained and relaxing. The little bonus options like free wine, slushies, treats in the room were a nice touch. Walkable to Southermost beach where there were chairs and towels available as part of your stay. We rented bikes during out stay and there was a bike rack in the parking lot we could use. Location was perfect for getting to all the traditional Key West sites. We did have to call each day to have our suite serviced, which they happily came to do, but we were surprised that we had to make the call. Additionally, it would be nice if there was a restriction on guests smoking on the balcony facing the pool area as multiple times during our stay the neighboring suite tenants would come out and smoke when we were out on our balcony even if they saw that our children were out there. It ruined the peacefulness outside and it would be nice to require guests to smoke on the outer balcony instead. Be mindful that the bathrooms are pretty small and the layout on the eating area of the kitchen of the bi-levels is a little tight. Overall we enjoyed stay and would consider the Santa Maria again in the future.

Sehr gutes Hotel inkl deren Anlage draußen. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das ist leider, trotz des Preises, nicht immer selbstverständlich für die Amerikaner. Wirklich großzügig gestaltete Zimmer und die zentrale Lage! Das Personal ist ebenso freundlich und entspannt! Für europäische Verhältnisse alles sehr großzügig und herrschaftlich gestaltet, ohne dabei zu abgehoben zu erscheinen!

I just returned from a stay at this hotel. This is just an account of what happened over my stay the girl who greeted us when we checked in wasn't really that friendly we checked in at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday the 17th. We were told upon arrival that we owed a $300 resort fee which no one told us about. I booked a bi level suite that is what I reserved but the room was not bi level as stated when we originally booked the room. Even though they had plenty of room in the parking lot we were told we also needed to pay $80 because we did travel with another couple our room was two bedroom but they did make us pay $80 for the parking spot so we were charged nearly $500 when we checked in after booking the room for over $2,000 for only two days. Anyway when we entered the room it was absolutely beautiful but when we open the refrigerator it was filled with someone else's food who had stayed before us which we want to happy about we had to throw it in the garbage and also when we moved some chairs around outside there was tons of cereal underneath the chairs so it wasn't really cleaned properly. I thought it was very cute that they delivered coffee and muffins and Dove bars but was disappointed to find that we did not receive any delivery of anything there was tiny little Dove bars in the freezer from somebody else's stay and muffins on the counter wrapped with plastic that looks like they've also been there for a while.. we did not receive any coffee delivery I thought there'd be somebody at our door in the morning with coffee and muffins because that's what they made it sound like in their website and also I thought at night they would be delivering chocolate but we never saw any of that the water by the pool wasn't cool and the towels weren't chilled either as it says they're supposed to be which is fine I'm just saying it wasn't as stated and I didn't see any fresh fruit anywhere that was also something stated in their website. The rooms were great for couples because one was on one side and one was on the other so that was nice and there was a blonde haired girl at the counter when we had to walk through the front entrance and she was actually a very nice and very sweet and very bubbly and I just want you to know that the person behind your counter is so important it makes a different vibe for your guests when someone is sweet and going out of their way as opposed to somebody who's just sitting there doing their job. also when we were checking out we were told that we had Beach passes across the street something that the girl who checked us in forgot to tell us and we would have used those chairs with our guests but they left obviously the day we checked out so we didn't get to use the beach chairs I'm not complaining about my stay I'm just telling you that this is a true account of what happened over the past couple of days.

Sicherlich eine sehr schöne Anlage, allerdings mit einer sehr schönen großen Klimaanlage vor dem Schlafzimmer, was den Preis diesbezüglich nicht rechtfertigt.
