The rooms are very clean with plenty of space. The staff is friendly and they make sure you know of the amenities offered. The cable is very limited and the showers are those annoying rain fall types so that is annoying. Free wifi though and an awsome pool makes it so you really don't worry about it. The fitness center is small with only limited equipment but I was still able to do my morning routine so I am fine with it. You will probably need to share though. The view is not all that great. You have to walk to see the ocean so that kind of takes away from the beach aspect. It is close to a lot of shops and restaurants though. You can walk or rent a bike. All in all, it is worth staying here but try to get a deal.

Overall we had a great stay at the Santa Maria suites in Key West. The location of the property is fantastic - within a block of the beach and all the life on Duval Street. We stayed in the Flat Pool View suite, which was quite modern and fitted with everything you would need. Common areas were well maintained. The staff embody the meaning of hospitality and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay - special shout-out to Matilda and Jason in this regard. From my perspective, this could have very well been a 5* rating but for 2 issues - 1) the housekeeping left a lot to be desired - suites were not completely cleaned and amenities/toiletries were not replaced, unless requested; 2) the second room/bathroom in the suite is much smaller with a lot of wasted area for closet/storage space. I would have much rather had both rooms the same size given that the suite is designed to be occupied by 4 people That being said, I would definitely be back for another stay at the Santa Maria Suites!
